About Michelle Ranae Wild
Michelle Ranae Wild is the founder/CEO of BEST. Her passion is helping individuals living with brain injury and other cognitive conditions learn to use compensatory strategies to gain greater independence. Her entire career, more than three decades, has been dedicated to teaching executive function and self-regulation skills to students in Coastline College’s Acquired Brain Injury Program.
About Kristi Kragthorpe Pero
Kristi Pero is a retired substitute teacher and works as a co-curriculum designer and trainer for BEST. Following a brain injury herself, she enrolled in Coastline Community College’s Acquired Brain Injury Program. Although not tech-savvy before her accident, Kristi soon saw how the strategies she mastered in Michelle’s class were vital to her maximizing her own independence, and she found her passion for helping others living with brain injury to use technology in their everyday lives.
